    Shaping Tomorrow: How Gen Z and Millennials View Charitable Giving

    The Bank of America Private Bank study reveals that 91% of affluent Americans engage in philanthropy, but giving behaviors vary significantly by age and gender. Younger donors prioritize direct action like volunteering, while older individuals favor financial contributions. Women tend to support causes advancing women and girls, while men focus more on hunger and poverty. Generational divides also emerge, with younger philanthropists showing more interest in using giving vehicles like trusts and foundations. Both generations share a commitment to making a lasting impact.
